Confrontation with the police during maritime strike, San Francisco
This photograph was not taken by Daniel Nilva himself. He made copies of this and about twenty other images from the 1936 maritime strike on the west coast which were later found among his archives. This image was labeled; "11/24/36 we are prepared to fight to he finish."
